Help/Frequently Asked Questions
1) Why was FreeCareerSearch.com created?
FreeCareerSearch.com (FCS) was created as a resource for people to search for and only for career related topics. As traditional search engines become larger and larger it has become difficult to find unequivocal search results. All of FCS’s resources have been individually selected to ensure fresh, relevant and personalized career results that cater to your individual interests, experience, location and personality.
2) How does FCS differ from other Internet search engines?
Whereas large search engines such as Google and Yahoo browse the entire web for results, FCS has narrowed its scope to search for only career related sites. If a web-user were to type in the word “music” in Google, they would find a scattered variety of search results. If the word “music” was typed in the FCS search engine, topics pertaining to music as it relates to careers would be the only results compiled.
3) Why do users have to sign-up to receive their search results?
By requiring a one-time registration, we are able to offer career seekers free-of-charge access to job openings, resume tips, advanced degree availabilities and online tutorials. In addition, by registering, users will have access to daily newsletters and help topics on a variety of career-related issues. Registered users can also e-mail career questions directly to our team of experts.
4) Do users have to sign-in each time they use FCS?
A one-time registration is required for all users. Once registered, users can browse FCS search engine with unlimited use.
5) How many careers does FCS support?
If there is a career, FCS has a search result. FCS has also generated proprietary career information on over 300 jobs featuring descriptions, average salary, education qualifications and more. To access this information, click on the appropriate tab at the top of the user-interface.
6) Does FCS give career advice?
Yes. Along with daily career newsletters and help topics, you may also email questions to help@freecareersearch.com.
