Network Administrators: New Heroes in Information Technology

In my job as a writer, one of the most essential things I need in order to get my job done is the internet. It not only serves as my main source of information, but it also works as a communication device where I can make real time conversations with my contacts all over the world. I admit that without the internet, it would be very difficult for me to accomplish my scheduled tasks for the day.

There are times though, that I experience network trouble. It sometimes takes a long time before my home page loads up, or sometimes it won't open at all. This simple glitch immediately affects my work since it consumes time I am supposed to spend gathering important information, manage my files, talk to other people for updates, and most of all, submit my finished project. Whenever I experience this problem, there's only one person I call-a network administrator.

Network administrators are people who specialize in setting up network systems in homes, companies, and other places in need of network connections. They are the ones in charge of keeping the internet lines running at quality performance, as today's society heavily relies on the World Wide Web for real time communication.

Becoming a network administrator is now made easy, thanks to online degrees available via the internet.

Because of today's fast-paced technology, companies are in greater need for network administrators to help establish business communications with clients across the globe. Job opportunities for network administrators are expected to rise at 393,000 by 2016. Satisfying compensations and outstanding benefits also await network administrators, with an average annual salary of $62,130.

One can also render his services to a number of clients, and be the 911 for internet problem emergencies. This makes the job of a network administrator a very promising home-based career.
