Jobs Likely to grow under the Plan of Obama

The poor economy has forced so many companies to downsize and restructure, causing a sudden spike in unemployment. Many people need to find a job, fast.

In response to the staggering unemployment rate, President Barack Obama has proposed a plan that he claims will create 3 million new jobs. Here are jobs that will probably strive under his proposal.

1) Obama plans to create public infrastructure projects – Rebuilding roads, bridges and schools require a diverse pool of professionals in various disciplines, like management, engineering, design and technology. Among the ideal jobs for these projects include Project Managers, Construction Managers, CAD (Computer Aided Design) professionals, Civil Engineers and Telecommunications Engineers. Getting a job in any of these fields will most probably become easier as soon as these projects are implemented.

2) Obama spoke about modernizing healthcare – Ideally, medical records should be filed electronically. But in order to come up with centralized systems for health care centers across states, massive programming and systems designs are needed. And once systems are in place, administration and maintenance are required. In short, opportunities to find a job in IT are likely to spike since IT professionals will become greatly in demand in the Health Care Sector.

3) Obama calls for increased monitoring of markets – In order to oversee the ins-and-outs in the market place and assess whether organizations and banks are taking excessive financial risks, you’re going to need accountants, auditors, and government regulators. Finance and accounting specialists will be in demand under the new administration

4) Obama wants to put more funding in the energy sector – The goal is to reduce the country’s dependence on foreign oil. R&D and innovation is the name of the game in order to double the production output of renewable energy and increase energy efficiency in homes and public places. Therefore, demand is likely to increase for electrical and mechanical engineers, power grid managers, chemists and other related specialists.
